Drudge Fought The TSA….And Drudge Won
Alex Jones' Prison Planet
...The big networks and the so-called progressive borg hive, who instantly tried to spin the lack of delays at airports over Thanksgiving as proof that the opt-out protest had failed, conveniently failed to mention the fact that major airports across the country had deliberately mothballed their naked body scanners in a crass PR ploy aimed at deflating the momentum behind the demonstration. ...
The TSA has NEVER stopped a single attack! Of course it's rather hard to do so when you are screening white, anglo-saxon, Christian people, especially elderly women, nuns, small children, and even white males the vast majority of the time. I would love to ask them to point out to me the last time someone like this either high-jacked, blew up or crashed a jet. The correct answer is, NEVER! Until they admit this (which they will never do) and start using proper police profiling techniques (which they also will never do) they will continue to be just another inept, politically correct, useless government agency.

Airports consider congressman's call to ditch TSA
The Associated Press
In a climate of Internet campaigns to shun airport pat-downs and veteran pilots suing over their treatment by government screeners, some airports are considering another way to show dissatisfaction: Ditching TSA agents altogether. ...
Private companies almost always do things much more efficiently and less expensively than government agencies!

Dejected House Dems wipe away tears as GOP celebrates victory
The Hill's Blog Briefing Room
House members returned to the nation's capital for the first time since Republicans captured the House two weeks ago. Dejected Democrats wiped away tears on the House floor Monday night while Republicans congratulated themselves on winning back control of the lower chamber. ...
There are a LOT of expectations riding on this group! If they stick to their principles and work on ACTUALLY REDUCING the size of government and by extention, reigning in spending, I see no reason that they shouldn't be re-elected in 2 years and have additional help elected to assist them.

US to spend $200 mn a day on Obama's Mumbai (Bombay) visit
NDTV.com
...About 3,000 people including Secret Service agents, US government officials and journalists would accompany the President. Several officials from the White House and US security agencies are already here for the past one week with helicopters, a ship and high-end security instruments. ...
There are no words to describe this lunacy. The closest thing I can think of is flabbergasting and mind-boggling. $200,000,000 A DAY and a 3,000 person entourage, not to mention 40 aircraft?! Good Lord!!!

Republicans Appear Poised to Win Big on Tuesday
Gallup
Lead in generic ballot large enough to give Republicans solid majority control of U.S. House.
Gallup's Oct. 28-31 survey of 1,539 likely voters finds 52% to 55% of likely voters preferring the Republican candidate and 40% to 42% for the Democratic candidate on the national generic ballot -- depending on turnout assumptions. ...
I prefer Rasmussen Reports as they are typically the most accurate in their numbers and projections. I do find this to be interesting. I also think it could be an attempt to distract and over exaggerate the outcome so as to give the left the ability to save face if the wins are not this large.

Chinese Professor
For those of you who think this is racist and xenophobic, you clearly miss the point that continued borrowing and unsustainable spending to "prime the economic pump" does not work and that nations that stray from their principles are doomed to fall.

Student dies in video tower collapse
This is the sole responsibility of Brian Kelly! Winds were ~30mph, gusting to ~50mph. OSHA has rules against such usage on construction sites. Sending that kid up in that thing was pure stupidity and ANYONE with half a brain would have known that! Kelly needs to be fired for this!

Brass Oldies
Thomas Sowell - RCP.com
Classic songs from years past are sometimes referred to as "golden oldies." There are political fallacies that have been around for a long time as well. These might be called brass oldies. It certainly takes a lot of brass to keep repeating fallacies that were refuted long ago. ...

Will someone please shut Krugman up
Telegraph.co.uk
Sorry, a bit late on this one, but I see old Kruggers, Nobel prize winner and New York Times columnist, is at it again. Not content to lecture his own country’s administration about how they are not spending enough, Professor Krugman lambasts Britain’s coalition government in his latest column for its deficit reduction plan, which he reckons will condemn the UK to a depression. ...
"Kruggers" is a moron! For being a "Nobel Prize" winning economist, he comes off as an economic illiterate! If you really want to find out what a smart and well versed economist has to say on our current economic plight, go read the articles and books of Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, and Milton Friedman.

British Tea Party launched by Conservative activists to challenge Coalition
Telegraph
A British Tea Party campaign inspired by the electoral triumphs of the American movement is launching a series of challenges to the Coalition government.
Seems the ideology of smaller, less intrusive government with less taxation is starting to take hold beyond our boarders.

John Boehner: the second of 12 kids from Ohio who is Barack Obama's elitist target
Telegraph.co.uk
...Mr Boehner's life story is the type of classic up-by-the-bootstraps tale of the American Dream that can put a tear in a voter's eye. As his story becomes better known, the Democrats could even be drawing favourable attention upon him. ...
Yep, sure sounds like the story of an "elitist" to me (that's sarcasm for those of you on the left).

Christine O'Donnell hits the stage at Values Voter Summit
David Catanese - POLITICO.com
Delaware GOP Senate candidate and tea party sensation Christine O'Donnell torched "ruling-class elites" and their "anti-Americanism," in her debut on the national stage Friday, encouraging the room of conservatives to lead a constitutional comeback in this year's midterm election. ...
I said it once and I'll say it again, I am CONSERVATIVE first and foremost, I am Republican second and only as long as they give me a reason to be. If I could register as a Conservative, I most certainly would.
