As someone who has worked in law enforcement and plans to do so again, I am greatly offended by a fellow officer making such an uneducated and, clearly, stupid statement! A LAW ABIDING citizen carrying concealed or openly is not someone that I fear any harm from. The "turds" that he referenced are the ones that must be carefully watched. They are the ones that are going to try to hide in the dark crevasses and run whenever the light is shone upon them!
