Butler leads way in 73-56 win against Cal

Ohio State's P.J. Hill takes on Jerome Randle of the Cal Bears during the Buckeye's 73-56 win in the second round NIT game held at St. John's Arena Monday. The Buckeyes advance to the quarterfinal round Wednesday where they take on in-state rivals Dayton.

The last time Ohio State and California met on the hardwood, the Buckeyes' basketball program clinched its first National Championship with a 75-55 victory back in 1960.

Of course, if one were to have entered St. John's Arena last night he or she might have thought the second-round match-up in the National Invitational Tournament had nothing short of a national title on the line...
