Your Debt Has Been Paid!

Life’s most important question is...

What’s going to happen to me AFTER I die?

If you’ve trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior you know exactly what’s going to happen to you. If, however, you’ve never done so, you should consider the following.

ALL of us are sinners!

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..." (Rom 3:23)
"As it is written ’There is none righteous, no, not one...’ " (Rom 3:10, Psalms 14:3)
"If we say that we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." (1 John 1:8)

None of us wants to admit it, but if we "do our own thing" or "do whatever feels right" we are outside the will of God. If we are outside His will and not doing what He commands then we have sinned.

God being Holy, He will NOT overlook sin.

"For the wages of sin is DEATH,...
...BUT the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom 6:23)
"For to be carnally minded is DEATH,...
...BUT to be spiritually minded is life and peace" (Rom 8:6)
"how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,..." (Hebrews 2:3)
"And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (Rev 20:15)

We cannot escape paying for our sins. God, being holy, will require payment for them, 1st through physical death then through banishment to Hell.

Because God loves us Christ died for us!

" ’For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.’ " (John 3:16)
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Rom 5:8)
"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit." (1 Peter 3:18)
"and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again." (2 Corinthians 5:15)

God knows all! He knows where we’ve been and what we’ve done. Despite it all He still loves us, to the point of sending is only Son to pay for our sins by dying on the cross at Calvary. Innocent blood was shed for the payment of our sins.

Trust in Christ Jesus as YOUR Lord and Savior and the ONLY way to Heaven!

"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Rom 10:9)
"For ’whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’ " (Rom 10:13, Joel 2:32)
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
"Jesus said to him, ’I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’ " (John 14:6)

Salvation CANNOT be earned! It is not gained by church membership or denomination. Salvation is given by God to those who believe with their heart and soul that Christ Jesus died for our sins on the Cross at Calvary and rose again 3 days later. It is not just a knowledge of this but true belief and acceptance of Christ as ones Savior.

If you want to know how to receive Christ as your Savior, here’s how:

1. ADMIT that you are a sinner and that you are guilty of sin and that you’ve been separated from God by your sins. You must then be willing to ask for forgiveness of your sins.

2. BELIEVE that Christ Jesus died on the cross at Calvary to pay the price for your sins, rose from the dead 3 days later, and is now sitting at the right hand of His Father.

3. CALL on the name of Jesus and ask Him to forgive you of your sins and come in and live in your heart as YOUR Lord and Savior.

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12-13)

If you would like to receive Christ as your Savior then simply ask Him NOW to come into your heart and life and be your Savior. There is no magical prayer. Just, in your own words and your heart, ask him to forgive you and to be your Savior. Now it’s time to live for Him!

If you did this I encourage you to seek out a Bible based Church and go to the Pastor and tell him what you’ve done and that you want to follow Christ in Believers baptism. I encourage you to find a good Baptist church (this is my own preference). If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment.
