Experienced Siena unlikely to suffer NCAA stage fright

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

Often in the NCAA men's basketball tournament, a big-conference team can intimidate a mid-major merely by the name on its uniform.

The Ohio States, Kansases and Pittsburghs are regulars on national television. Mid-majors toil in obscurity and can become flustered when they take the court with the big names.

That will not be an issue for the Siena Saints when they play Ohio State in a first-round Midwest regional game Friday night...

I expect Siena to play a good game, but if we play up to our talent this should be a victory for the Scarlet and Gray.

Well, we quite obviously DID NOT play up to our talent! It's a very young team though. Hopefully nobody's dumb enough to jump to the NBA!
